Renier Diaz de la Portilla, Esq.

Renier Diaz de la Portilla is an experienced lawyer, mediator and former lawmaker. Fully bilingual and bi-literate in English and Spanish, Renier brings a client-centered approach to the practice of law based on a lifetime of community involvement. Renier’s law degree was earned at Nova Southeastern University, where he was admitted on a full academic minority scholarship.

Renier’s master’s degree is from an Ivy League school, and his bachelor’s in journalism is from our hometown Florida International University. Renier specializes in criminal law at The Gallardo Law Firm. He has handled hundreds of criminal matters and many trials to verdict in his nearly 11 years of practicing. In his spare time Renier enjoys watching American football and eating buffalo-style chicken wings with his family and 6-year-old son David.
