Dianet Torres, Esq., is a civil litigation attorney who brings extensive courtroom experience, strategic insight, and a deep commitment to client service into every aspect of her practice. Before transitioning to civil litigation, Dianet served as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade County, where she prosecuted thousands of cases ranging from misdemeanors to first-degree felonies and ultimately advanced to an A-level felony prosecutor.

During her tenure as an Assistant State Attorney, Dianet litigated complex motions, conducted evidentiary hearings, and secured guilty verdicts at trial. This experience provided her with a strong foundation in trial advocacy, motion practice, evidentiary analysis, and case strategy—skills she now applies thoughtfully and effectively in her civil practice.

In her civil work, Dianet is known for her preparation, organization, and client-focused approach. She works closely with each client to understand their goals and concerns, delivering tailored strategies designed to achieve efficient, fair, and practical resolutions. Her advocacy is grounded in clear communication, meticulous preparation, and a genuine commitment to helping clients move forward with confidence.

Dianet earned her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law, where she was recognized for academic achievement and actively participated in Moot Court, National Appellate Competitions, the Women’s Law Society, and legal research initiatives, including work that led to publication in a law review article. She also gained valuable experience through the Death Penalty Clinic, contributing to research on complex constitutional and procedural issues. Dianet holds a Bachelor’s degree with a double Major in Political Science and International Relations from Florida International University, graduating cum laude.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Dianet is proud to advocate for her clients with clarity, compassion, and determination. Outside of her practice, she enjoys reading, cycling, and spending time with friends.
