If I Get Hurt On The Job, What Are My Rights? Elvis John Adan, a workers Comp lawyer from Gallardo Law Firm, explains in this video the two major rights that employees have after getting injured in the workplace: medical treatment, and temporary partial or permanent disability.
Video Transcription: When you are injured on the job, you have two major rights. The first is medical treatment such as initial care, physical therapy, surgery, attended care, diagnostic testing. The second right is temporary disability, temporary partial disability, and permanent disability. That's what we call indemnity benefits. Basically, lost wages when you cannot work due to your injuries. If you are not getting these benefits from your insurance company, then we will file for those benefits, the petition for benefits, in court on your behalf.
