Erika Ortiz Esq.

Erika S. Ortiz, Esq., is an immigration attorney at Gallardo Law Office, P.A., where she is dedicated to advocating for individuals and families navigating the complexities of the U.S. immigration system. The daughter of immigrants from the Dominican Republic and fully bilingual in English and Spanish, Ms. Ortiz brings both professional skill and personal understanding to every case she handles.

Ms. Ortiz graduated summa cum laude from St. Thomas University College of Law, where she earned multiple CALI Book Awards in Contracts, Constitutional Law, Property, and Cyberlaw Seminar, and served on the St. Thomas Law Review. During this time, she completed a judicial internship with the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, where she observed proceedings, analyzed legal issues, and gained firsthand experience in courtroom procedures, evidence presentation, and legal research.

Her practice at Gallardo Law Office focuses on a wide range of immigration processes, including adjustment of status, asylum, family-based petitions, removal defense, work authorization, and waivers.
