Julio Avendaño is an employment law attorney. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology before attending the University Of Florida Levin College Of Law. While at the University of Florida, he was part of the Latino Law Student Association, the Association of Public Interest Law, and received the Pro Bono Outstanding Achievement Certificate.
Mir. Avendaño has advocated for homeless and education rights at Southern Legal Counsel in Gainesville, for civil rights at LatinoJustice PRLDEF in New York City, and for immigrant rights at the Southern Poverty Law Center in Atlanta.
